In 2022, Design Jam approached me to create the layout of featured articles on Wolfgang Weingart and Paula Scher. Written by Dr Fiona Kerr, ‘The Godfather of Swiss’ discusses the importance of Weingart’s work in the development of Swiss Punk Typography. The eccentric layout of this article pays homage to a renown designer who is celebrated for being a rule breaker and a rebel.

‘Playing For Keeps’ by Maria Tsudon discusses the influence of Paula Scher on modern day design. Scher likes to create bold and expressive designs. This style inspired the layout of Tsudon’s article. The design uses examples of Scher’s work to add visual appeal and frame text so that readers are guided to key information.
